Well they obviously don't think Sele Farm is worth nuking but Sattahip in Thailand is very high resolution. You can even read the 20th World Scout Jamboree Sign by the reservoir.

For those of you disappointed that the west of the town is only is low-res, you might want to try MSN Virtual Earth, where the whole town is in high resolution http://local.live.com/default.aspx?v=2&cp=51.79861~-0.090852&style=h&lvl=15

Take a look at Google's Moon equivalent at http://moon.google.com/ . Use the zoom tool on the upper left & zoom all the way in...

There's also a Yahoo Earth in Beta at the moment. The Hertford pictures clearly show the steam fair on Hartham Common, so that makes it easy to date - end of July/start of August 2003 [url="http://maps.yahoo.com/beta/#maxp=search&mvt=h&q1=hertford,+uk&trf=0&lon=-0.076765&lat=51.798398&mag=2"]Hertford on Yahoo Maps[/url]

For those of you that were disappointed with the poor resolution of certain parts of Hertford on Google Earth - be disappointed no more! Great pictures of the whole of Hertford.

The pictures are still well out of date though - the Addis factory is still there, which makes them over six years old.

Nice to see the improved coverage. A few observations though... 1) Lovely poppies in the fields to the west of Sele Farm. 2) Its now Panshanger Airport apparently [:0] 3) Whoever felt the need to post pictures of Tesco at Hatfield needs to get out more! [:)]

Once again not many cars in most car parks (St Andy's St, County Hall etc) and it looks like Tesco's is shut so that should narrow it down a bit - but a lot of cars at Hartham Swimming Pool car park and round the factories at Mead Lane/Fountain Drive. And if Ware was done at the same time, Ware Tesco's CP is full? Dude, where's my car????

I see now that [url]http://www.192.com[/url] have an aerial photo section. Not as user friendly IMO as Google Earth but its certainly more up to date and includes Toothbrush Towers etc.
