Second Mens Clothes Shop Opens

Following the recent opening of Roberto Gerrards, a second menswear shop has opened in the town.
Yates Menswear occupies a former greengrocer's shop in Fore Street opposite The Corn Exchange and sells exclusive label clothes.
Boo!
Following the closure of She Lingerie in Market Place, Boo has taken over. The shops sells children's shoes and was for a long time a bookshop.
Mobile phone shop CBS Communications in Bircherley Green has closed down. CBS was one of four mobile shops in the town.
The waiting room at Hertford Bus Station has re-opened following a petition and action by the local authority.
Action Bikes came to the town's Bircherley Green Shopping Centre during the Summer and takes on the likes of Halfords and Marshall's in Railway Street. The shop also has an outlet in Bishop's Stortford.
Baby Bye Bye is a second-hand infants clothes shop recently opened in Railway Street opposite the Marquee shopping centre.

The Three Tuns PH in St.Andrews Street came under new management in May
Graeme and Morag Evans took over the pub on the 22nd May, moving from Cheshire where they were relief managers. Graeme says "We want this to be a community local and carry a wide range of cask ales and lagers (the only pub in Hertford to offer Carling Premier!) and traditional homecooked food, including a traditional Sunday roast."
Thai Rack Opens

The Thai Rack restaurant in Parliament Square opened during the Summer. The town's first and only Thai restaurant occupies premises that used to be the Guru Tandoori restaurant, which was unable to survive in a square that hosts three other Indian outlets. The restaurant is one of three in the county.

Roberto Gerrards is a new men's clothes shop in Railway Street. The shop has recently been host to a bookshop and arts and crafts outlet.
Deli Closes
Hertford's new delicatessen in Bircherley Green has closed after only five months. Hertford Lighting Centre in Railway Street has also closed after a similar period.

A new opticians and contact lens centre has opened in Salisbury Square in the premises formerly occupied by Lock, Stock and Barrell.
