Stenoak Plans Refused

Thursday 14 January 2010

Proposals to build 14 town houses on an old industrial site have been refused planning permission.

Barber Honey of St.Andrew Street submitted plans for the homes at the end of St.John's Street but planning officials were unhappy with the design and scale of the development.

Objections were received from local residents and the Town Council.

The site is currently a disused factory and has been empty for some years.
