Burglary Warning

Police are advising residents to be vigilant following a spate of attempted break-ins on the Foxholes Estate.

On the night of 21st July there were four attempted burglaries in The Squirrels, whilst three days later on 24th July there were nine in The Copse. Most of the incidents involved trying to enter properties via uPVC doors.



Sergeant Andrew Palfreyman from Hertford Police Station said: “There have been a large number of attempted break-ins over the last few weeks and so we want to remind residents to keep their homes secure both during the day and overnight.

Andrew continued: “We need information on any suspicious activity in your local area, as it could help to identify and arrest burglars. Registration numbers and descriptions of any vehicles seen in the area that wouldn’t usually be there, or descriptions of people acting suspiciously can all help.
