Rock Concert At The Castle
Hertford's Castle Grounds become a rock venue on Sunday 7th August as a number of local bands perform at a free concert.
Bright sunshine and warm weather brought out over 3000 people to the event, which was organised by Hertford Town Council in association with The Hertford Marquee to raise money for The Isobel Hospice.
The concert was sponsored by V&S Scaffolding of Hertford.
Featured acts included 8-piece funk, soul and disco covers band Funkify, together with Stones-style rockers Black Cab, and Rock/Rap fusion from 3D Echo.
Also on the bill were Twisted Covers, a classic rock covers band featuring members of 3D Echo and the Hertford Marquee's Big Jim; Nuala O'Halpin, a melodic and lyrical singer/songwriter; and local indie punks The Runners.
The event took place on the East Lawn and ran from 2pm to 7pm with admission was by voluntary donation to The Isabel Hospice.
