Good to see an illuminated Kebab enhancing the street scene at this location now

Saw that yesterday night, it makes a positive contribution to the urban landscape. Does it have planning permission?

I like their chips, though

I used to like popping in there sometimes on the way home till I saw their new food hygiene rating:

Yes I thought I was imagining it at first! It does add a touch of North London glamour to the street - less so in the daytime when the insert photo of kebab meat is visible.

I am disappointed they didn't go for a neon cod, that would have been more in keeping with the theme.

The hygiene rating is troubling as I too like their chips!

Like a number of new entrants to the town's retail market, I suspect they may hail from North London.

AFAIK they don't have planning permission for the recent additional signage.

Update: The District Council have told them to take the sign down as it does not have planning permission.
