Evron Wharf

What do you think about the quality and pace of housing development in Hertford?

I would imagine that the area along that part of the river is a target for developers. It is easy walking distance to Hertford East and town centre, the added draw of "riverside views" would make it property easy to sell.

It looks pretty awful to me, and I would have thought overlooked by the riverside path

I wish some of theses developments were for some 2 bedroom houses and not more flats. I am looking to downsize but as I have cats I want some outside space. I would like to live on The Folly but no houses seems to come up for sale there.

So far so typical.

Didn't realise how big the site was until I walked down Marshgate Drive, seems a fairly big site while walking along the tow path but it's absolutely mahoosively deep, much bigger than I envisaged.

For those of you that don't walk in the area, I have attached some pictures of the artist's impression on the site fence.
They are basically the same picture, but of differing quality !

The original Elder Court/Wharf development next door looks a tad scruffy already
