Solicitor for conveyancing

Post by codek2 » Mon 03 Mar, 2014 1:17 pm

Hi, we need a solicitor to sell a house, any recommendations for anyone local? Been ages since we were involved in the market, and gisby harrison who we've used in the past now seem quite expensive ( I suspect we're just out of touch! )

Thanks,
Dan

We used Breeze & Wyles when we last moved 5 years ago. Used to be on Fore St. but since moved to Stag House. They did what we asked them to without any drama.

We used Kings Conveyancing and found them reasonable. If you contact Dan or Jack at Kings Estate Agents on 01992 586570, they will be able to give you the number. They don't charge, if things don't go through, which was helpful in our case as we were 'messed' around by the person, who made the first offer and we had to re-market our house. My Sister, just used them in the last few weeks and they were really good and their charges are not that high. Having previously used local solicitors and having house sales fall through, costing us a large amount of money, we would not use anyone else. Hope that helps.
