How does it work?

People bring along items they have cooked or grown to swap for items cooked or grown by someone else.
It’s useful to bring items that you would be prepared to swap for six eggs.

I found a half used pack of almond flakes 'best before 2006' in the back of the cupboard the other day if anyones interested.

What a shame, I would have had a full pack of mouldy almonds but not a half pack.

I've been sorting out our cellar and have a dozen or so bottles of bottle conditioned home brew from the nineties. We cracked one open and it tasted fine according to OH. He wasn't brave enough to finish it though

Sounds like you should bring it along and label it as vintage artisan ale
