To resurrect an old thread....
Now the startling "restoration" work to the monument has had time to weather am I the only one who thinks it still looks in a considerably worse state than before the work was done.
There was lots of discussion regarding the professional restoration work at the time. It now appears that the taxpayer has been seen off once again.
