Bollywoods

I see that Bollywoods, the worst restaurant in Hertford by some distance (boasting only 1 star for food hygiene....) has lowered the tone of the place even more with a dreadful plasticky looking new white sign. Looks terrible, and the Council should make them replace it with a sign that's in keeping with the Town. Who on earth eats in there and keeps that awful restaurant going!?

I doubt it's the sale of food and drink that keeps the place going.

If it's the sale of 'other stuff', why don't the Police close them down and make a few arrests!

I have noticed that Bollywoods has been closed for the past couple of weeks...blinds down, no sign in the window stating what it happening, etc. Does anyone know what is going on with the place? Is it now closed permanently?

There's now a sign in the window saying that it's been acquired by new owners and will re-open shortly.

Planning application now submitted for these premises to reinstate 1st & 2nd floor windows and create 4x apartments above the restaurant.

Application can be viewed online at https://publicaccess.eastherts.gov.uk using reference 3/15/1990/LBC
