One Star Eateries

The following establishments have all earned a single star for their food hygiene, classified as "Major improvement necessary":

The Greyhound, Bengeo (ispected February 2013)
Bollywoods, Fore Street (October 2012)
Galos, Old Cross (October 2013)
Hertford Star, The Wash (August 2013)
Pizza Go Go, Ware Road (October 2012)
Rose Café, Railway Street (May 2013)
Shades, Parliament Square (January 2013)
The Millstream, Port Vale (February 2013)
The White Horse, Castle Street (October 2013)

How the hell can Galos score so low? It can't have been open more than a month when inspected. Obviously staffed by people who have no food hygiene training.

Be interested to know why only one star, I surpose its a case of what you dont see behind closed doors does not hurt.

Where is this published ? Is it an exhaustive list giving all ratings & establishments ?

Roger - you can search on the Food Standards Agency website (http://www.food.gov.uk/ratings) but noticed that the Mercury were also running a similar list on their website for those across the East Herts region

Thanks City Fella. I realise I didn't specify but I was after more than just the list of one stars which your link to the FSA helpfully provided.
