Went in to Hertford today, hardly bother anymore but wanted to look for specific things. Marshall's shut, no new sofa there then, new farm shop shut back to Pearces on A10 then etc. wonder why shops close then if can't bother to open when loads of us are about on time off!

When you say Marshall's was closed do you mean just for the "holidays" or closed down completely?

I ask as I haven't been able to access there webcam for a while.

I find that a bit odd. I have noticed a lot of shops posted up their Christmas into New Year Opening times but most appeared to be open on 2nd January.. I agree its not good as valuable custom for Hertford shops is being taken elsewhere... I hope the shops realise that despite the fact some of us are working a lot of people are not going back to work until Monday 6th when the kids go back to school....

I think Marshall's is always closed on a Thursday as the open on Sundays.

One man businesses have to have some time off!

I suspect the farm shop had no new stock to sell after the holidays
