Evron Wharf
The imagery on this page doesn't strike me as a typical Hertford scene.

Agreed it looks out of place there along that part of the river

That picture baffles me, I can't work out where it will be. Is this the place they're working on right now next to the towpath which will offer stunning views across the river to a load of light industrial units?

The same image is displayed on the fencing that runs along the site adjacent to Marshgate Drive as well. It does seem very vague. Perhaps they don't have much confidence in the architect.

More architectural junk in the neo-brutalist/penal style from Weston Homes.
It's an extension of the 'Meads' development along Mead Lane.
Deep joy - another year of noise, dirt and disruption for those already living here.

Re: Evron Wharf
Probably, I wasn't here at the time but it was a greenfield site back then (1904), on the edge of an industrial area with busy (steam) railway sidings, gravel pits, gasworks and a power station. So I doubt that anyone was inconvenienced by it.Smudger wrote:Like the year of noise, dirt and disruption when they built your house then ?
