The signs are up this morning and it looked like they have the barriers etc. ready so I assume the road closure starts today for about a week I believe.

Were there any warnings of this? I missed them. Am fielding frantic calls from Mrs. N still trying to get kids to Nursery on North Road!

Outside Tescos/Ware road yesterday was a nightmare also as they had works like at Old Cross with x way traffic light control!

Closed last Friday until next Monday; I'd imagine the timing is due to the swallow hole debacle.

I'd imagine the Tesco lights were being fixed as they've failed at least 3 times in the past few weeks.

Apparently the closure starts from the Cross Lane/Hospital roundabout which means it isn't just St. Andrews Street but also some of North Road.

The nursery there had no warning of this.

Dutch Knight, yes you can drive down there for access and still get into St Andrews St car park. The road is closed just past the doctors coming from North Road end

Thanks. This is what we are now doing. I haven't seen it for my own eyes but is there "Access only" signage up?
