The fan on my 2009 Apple iMac appears to have failed. Is there any recommendations of someone that could fix this reliably?

I would love to hear of a local Mac repairer, I have never found one, but would always prefer to support a local business.
If you are handy with a screwdriver you can fix a lot of things yourself. I have done memory upgrades, HD replacements etc
I would imagine a fan swap is also quite easy. Try
http://www.macupgrades.co.uk (Cambridge) who are good for online spares and advice

We used Just Fix Macs in Hatfield. I was a guy/team out of his house. They basically upgraded our entire computer etc. We dropped it off in the morning and it was ready within a couple of hours. Good honest service.
Might be worth speaking with them. Can't remember the cost but think they solely deal with Macs.

I'm pretty sure ITS don't do Macs as that is why we looked elsewhere.

Happy to say I used Just Fix Macs in Hatfield and it was George who I dealt with. Turned out my iMac required some major surgery, and they provided an excellent service at a very reasonable cost. For £250 I got a new hard drive, updated operating system, new MS Office for Mac suite and they put all my data back from my back up drive. And now my Mac whizzes along as it did when I first bought it - yippee. And of course much cheaper than buying a new Mac at £1100!

Does anyone have any updated recommendations for Apple Mac repairs/servicing?
I note the suggestion of Just for Macs in Hatfield and phoned them yesterday. Unfortunately, they don't really seem to do call outs (sharp intake of breath… "it'll cost a fortune", he said) and I'd prefer to have someone visit me to do the work and to look at various networking issues.
I've heard of a few "one-man-bands" who will visit your home and fix PCs, but I'm struggling with someone to help with a Mac.
Thanks!
