Awesome. I am particularly interested in the climate control element as this morning the climate was arctic. I could see my breath...
I do admit I am slightly proud that we can currently boast the oldest electric vehicles in mainline Britain.

Good to see they've got wifi (though wonder how much it'll cost). I find the data signal pretty bad considering most of the journey is on fairly high lines through London.
Also given their current plan seems to be to add a minute on to the timetabled journey every year, presumably by the time these trains come in it'll take nearly fifty minutes even on the quick train (though at the minute I'd be quite pleased if it only took fifty minutes...)

On twitter someone questioned how many trains the total hertford north/wgc route has?
This is 25, so does it replace the whole lot?
Hard to know, but I doubt there's many more than 25?

There are 44 x 3 car sets of the class 313 units operating on the route that runs into Moorgate.
There are 25 x 6 car sets in the new batch, so there are an extra 18 carriages.

Hello
Is anyone aware when the HN line will be receiving the new trains?
Thanks

I saw a tweet a week or so ago that showed one of the units being tested so, hopefully, they'll start introducing them soon.
This link (pdf) says that they have "modern toilet facilities." Whether or not you'll be able to get to them in the rush hour is another thing!
