Re: Choice of Train Operators
that rolling stock was first used fro 1976! They've just repainted it and changed the seating layout in that time! shocking to think thats about 40 years old now.. and still using the "Old" trains.. must be expensive for new parts !!!

Re: A laugh amongst the deluge
:D Priceless! Wish you could have done that for me as I tried to drive through a huge swathe of water past Chapmore End approaching the Tonwell roundabout and some D***Khead in white van thinks its funny to drive through deep water, on your side of the road, very fast causing so much tide I thought ...

I am trying not to ruin my car's suspension and this is not always possible when trying to avoid driving into someone else!!!! There are so many on so ...

Re: Bengeo Byelection

I don't consider it an indicator of things to come, but my apathy is worrying. I am normally good at voting to have my voice counted, but...

Re: 16 Jan morning rush hour delays caused by...
When I commuted from HN for 20 odd years there were two overwhelming factors for delays, one was trains were pulled to be used on WGC line to keep them appeased and two there were a lot of Railway Bigwigs who lived along the WGC line and to make sure the delays weren't as bad, they got all the train...

Re: Should development be allowed on Green Belt land?
Personally no. I was listening to news today regarding buildng homes on known flood plains.. and how since 2002 197 developments have been allowed despite being advised against being built due to high risk of flooding. Looking at all the flooded homes and some will have been built on a floodplain......

Re: Closed
I find that a bit odd. I have noticed a lot of shops posted up their Christmas into New Year Opening times but most appeared to be open on 2nd January.. I agree its not good as valuable custom for Hertford shops is being taken elsewhere... I hope the shops realise that despite the fact some of us ar...
