Re: Women's Cycling Tour
It was great to see so many people out supporting the event on Saturday - there was a wonderful atmosphere. The crowds up Port Hill were incredible. I dragged my kids along in the hope that it would inspire them, although I suspect they actually enjoyed the police motorbikes more.

Re: Hertford's lovely walks and...
Bagged up poo, deposited in the middle of footpath between B1000 and Thieves Lane car park. If this was left by one of those 'well-intentioned people' for collection later, they should be ashamed of themselves. There can be absolutely no excuse for it. They are sloppy, disgusting people who are bon...

Re: Women's Cycling Tour
I knew nothing about it until I saw in this weeks Mercury. Not in to cycling so no reason to have seen it. Thanks for the link at least the roads will not be closed all day but just on a rolling road block. Must remember to check the times! It rolls into Hertford shortly before midday - from Hertfo...

Re: Women's Cycling Tour
Lack of any promotion for this by the council is embarrassing. Here's an opportunity to get lots of people into the town centre for the biggest sporting event that's ever happened in Hertford and it's been completely wasted. Indeed - I only realised it was heading through Hertford when I took a mor...

Re: Changes to Recycling
Some of the leaflet you attached states we can put the plastic film into the blue lidded box.. we cannot it now has to go entirely into the black bin to go to the landfill.. this is the whole point of this thread, its changed how much we are able to recycle. The date on your leaflet says 2013, unfo...
