Re: locked gates at Hertford East

Now, I'm back to work, I followed up my enquiry with Abellio. It seems they responded last week but it was put into the spam folder! The response I got was as follows: Thank you for your recent email with regards to the side gate at Hertford East station. I am sorry to read of the inconvenience caus...

Re: locked gates at Hertford East

I have asked a question via their customer relations webform and am waiting until the end of this week for their 8 working days response time to expire! However I did ask the ticket lady today about it and she said her manager has told her to keep it shut for "safety" reasons. (I think I detected a ...

Re: Should Parking Be Subsidised?

Same reason I don't support re-nationalising railways, as I don't think it's fair for non-train travellers to subsidise rail travel. What is your plan for running a service that can't have any effective competition? (and arguably, the real problem, can never be profitable but is considered a public...

We are now subsidising the railways much more now than we did before it was privatised. The EastCoast Line, currently publically owned is...

Re: Changes to Recycling

If they spent more time communicating effectively they might spend less time stickering, but based on my experience I'm the only one who reads the leaflets anyway, so probably not. None of my neighbours ever read them. I haven't even seen this mythical update leaflet...Thank Crunchie for the forum!
