Re: New timetable from Hertford North - May 2018

I dont think they are refurbishing the 313s i think thats some misinformation. over the next year or so it'll all be the new 717s - thats what they say on twitter anyway.

Also surely the 313s are beyond refurbishment now?

Re: New timetable from Hertford North - May 2018

the national rail planner has a big ! next to it saying train times are not currently known post may 20th.

I noticed there's a weird 5 minute delay at FPK on the train to HAT so i'm wondering if they just don't have a clue atm :)

Re: New trains on Hertford North route announced

the new trains on the great northern line do have first class, however the ones at the back of the train are declassified, not sure why, and yes, does cause quite a lot of confusion!

turning off lights overnight is a good thing, but ironically also irrelevant now they're all LED!

bi-weekly rubbish is also a good thing - time people paid attention to their refuse, i bet recycling rates have improved.

Re: Community Charge 2018/19

Re: Plumber

A friend of mine has recommended these guys: https://hertfordplumbers.co.uk/ I was going to use them, but we need to source a new tap first, something I've not got around to doing yet! I must admit finding a local plumber has proved very tricky for us! (We did use to use plumb domestic for the boile...

Re: Looks like Bypass is getting closer

Steve - work on the routes *has* already been done in the past. That work won't be thrown away.. Although some of it may now be defunct. You're right though, the route north of the town was discounted.

ha, connection at rush green? That'd be fun!!
