Sainsbury Parking
Since the introduction of the new parking system my wife has collected two £70 parking fines. On both occasions after shopping she scanned the parking voucher given to her by the till operator. We used the Horizon Parking Online site to appeal on the first ticket (but haven't heard back yet). When w...

Re: Bengeo Gravel Extraction
Working from home today and answered the door today to a pleasant young lady with a Stop Bengeo Quarry poster. Have stuck the poster to my front window and dashed off the template letter in the post to Ms Hart at Herts Council. I enjoy my Summer weekend walks across beautiful countryside to the Wood...

Re: 20 MPH zone West of Bengeo Street.
Just in case anyone thinks the BMW stereotype is an urban myth - here is a reference to 2 academic studies - one in the US and one in the UK both seem to be based on research data:- http://www.bmwblog.com/2013/08/13/study-says-bmw-drivers-are-jerks/ also.... http://thesupercarkids.com/why-do-bmw-dri...

Re: 20 MPH zone West of Bengeo Street.
On the BMW thing - I'm sure there are a small percentage that stick to the speed limits and don't do the slip lane to fast lane thing. However, in 30 years of driving I can safely say that I can predict with a fair degree of certainty what a BM driver will do. I give them plenty of room on passing s...

Re: 20 MPH zone West of Bengeo Street.
Good idea IMHO. Only this lunchtime I was nearly mowed down by a BMW doing around 40 - 50 mph in Duncombe Road ! What is it with BMW's and breaking the speed limit ? On a different topic has anyone else noticed how on motorway slip roads joining the carriageway - BMW drivers nearly always try to go ...

Re: Hertford Corn Exchange music in 2015
Good stuff - interested to see The Blow Monkeys listed as I was listening to one of their albums only last night. On a bit of an 80s revival right now. One band I have been listening to a lot is Hue & Cry (Scottish brothers with hits like "Looking for Linda" and "Labour of Love" etc). They are touri...

Re: Freeview Signal Issues
Thanks for that Steve the website lists ITV3 in with whole load of other channels in the section COM4 SDN
The Frequency is listed as C51 714.00Mhz for this group - is this what I use for the Manual Tuning ? Sorry I am a novice with Freeview as we have Virgin TV at home.

Re: Freeview Signal Issues
My parents in law use Freeview in Villiers Street Hertford. They have an aerial pointing towards Sandy Bedfordshire. All the channels from Sandy are fine. However, ITV3 insists on coming from London instead and is a poor picture. I have tried a full factory reset on their TV and and tried Sorting Ch...
