The Mill Mead School fete is on this Saturday between 1pm and 4pm. Always a great day and The Goldbacks are playing too

That's a shame, pretty sure that wasn't the case previously. Still worth a visit though.
There are nice picnic areas at Hatfield Forest as an alternative.

The Gibberd Garden in Harlow is a lovely spot, costs about £4 each to go there - http://www.thegibberdgarden.co.uk/

I used to live on Millstream Close and although the water level was pretty high it didn't get anywhere near the houses.

I haven't tried brewing my own beer yet (apart from a failed attempt at Uni over 15 years ago!) but have been looking at home brewing courses in London and am definitely keen to have another go.

I was told I couldn't do that over the phone as well having done split tickets for Travelcards from Bowes Park in the past. Have just emailed a complaint to FCC to get a refund. Thanks for the info.
