Also I am pleased to say that Hertford is a new modern town according to David Perkins as
Hertford has two railway stations, both with electrified services into London.
When did that happen???

Looks like Sainsburys might be coming to the town too. Good research guys

The Bob Hill shop is a beautiful old house and it looks around 300 years old to me. It's a tragedy to see it left to decay like this.

Whilst I understand that there are historical disputes surrounding both properties, are there no enforcement notices that EHDC can use to ensure that buildings are kept in a reasonable state of repair? It seems such a pity that these (possibly listed?) are being left to deteriorate so extensively, especially as both are in prime 'entrance' locations to the town.

Any thoughts?
