Computer help
Hi
A while back I got an excellent recommendation on here for the above (Chris Hawkins) who helped me out with a number of issues over recent times but Chris no longer works on a self employed basis. Anybody know of anyone locally who can help with setting up wireless via a USB dongle. Seemed straightforward enough in pronciple but having problems

You could try ITS digital in Bengeo, thats who I am going to start using now Chris has stopped trading. I know Marilyn (who also used Chris for everything PC related) has used them and been very pleased.

As gemi says I would def rec ITS Digital in Bengeo Street they were very good to me and didn't treat me like a computer idiot even though I am!

I'm not sure if he still does it but John Kitchen (01992 589150) ran a business offering these services. I never used him myself but neighbours did and were happy with the work.

Another vote for ITS Digital of Bengeo Street. They solved a major problem for me this week very quickly and at nominal cost for parts and labour. Highly recommended.

Thanks for all your feedback and whilst the problem is a software issue with a very old machine which is not worth addressing, I have been sufficiently impressed to start talking to them about upgrading my kit. Long overdue. I won't bore you with the detail but their attitude and approach has been a stark contrast to the customer service I received from Computer Care in Fore St!
