Hi all, Just wanted to state something for the record.....I thoroughly recommend East Herts Electrical. I've just bought a Bosch washer/dryer off them and they proved extremely knowledgable, extremely helpful and very accomodating. I'm normally one to get large electrical goods from big chains like Comet or Curry's etc but this time round I thought I'd give the independent local guys a chance. The demise of the 'high street' is of some concern to me so I thought I'd better actively do something about it for a change. Yes, they are slightly more expensive but you know what, to have same day delivery (well they offered it to me but I work away from Hertford so couldn't accept it), to know the guy selling to me knows his stuff (I'm sure he could strip one down blindfolded in 30 mins flat!), to know I'm supporting a local shop that I will need advice/goods from again in the future, and, finally, to have them say "yes, no problem" when I tell them they've got to take it down steep stairs into the basement....then yes, I'll willing to pay a little more.
