boarding loft/loft ladder
Hi,
Can anyone recommend someone to board a loft (already insulated) - it may need joists raised? And also install a loft ladder into a difficult position and maybe do a new hatch to the loft.

I've asked the carpenter who's fixing my interior doors to do my loft ladder and he'll do that too. Not done yet as still waiting for delivery of doors but he comes totally recommended by my decorator, who is consistently brilliant!

Following recommendation on Forum, I too used KMW Loft Ladders last Tuesday. Loft was boarded out, striplight installed, lightweight hinged loft door & telescopic ladder fitted and all completed efficiently & tidily by Kevin. He also filled and painted the ceiling around the loft hatch opening, where the old opening had been. Very pleased with the finished work.

hi,
ended up using Artisan Services, 01992 633 883 for cost and availability, very pleased with work (and price), got 5m2 boarded, joists raised to allow for this, new loft hatch and new telescopic ladder.
