Hi there, does anyone know a dog sitter that looks after dogs in their own home. It's for a sensitive Springer Spaniel over the Christmas holidays

Contact me Kitty Cat through admin or registered email. Past springer spaniel owners might enjoy doggy company over Christmas!

I was just about to post a new thread when I found this - hope it's not hijacking but I may need a dog sitter in Feb half term. Trouble is it's for 2 dogs; a 14 year old and an almost 5 month old! I used to use Animal Nanny but know Jo doesn't really arrange home boarding any more and I don't want to put my two into kennels unless I really have to - anyone know any good and reliable home dog boarders? Thank you x

We use to use Milners Mutts to train our border terrier and Alison (the owner) dog sits both in here own home and yours. If you google milners mutts i'm sure you'll find the contact details.

The nurses at Chestnut Vets do pet sitting. Have used them for the cats in the past. 01992 582115

Oh thanks Minnie - do you know if you have to be a patient at Chestnuts? We are Walton Lodge customers! [:)]

Not sure. But can't see that it would make a difference, so long as you leave relevant details for them as you would for anyone sitting.

Have just seen requests for a dog sitter. I have just taken early retirement from teaching. I have always loved animals and have decided I'd like to work with dogs. Whilst working, my dog (a black lab) was walked by George (who runs Canine Capers). She does dog walking, dog boarding and dog training. During the holidays I have looked after her black labs and various other dogs when she is full up. I have already got a border terrier to look after during the first few days of half term. As it is the first time I've looked after this particular dog I would not have another one to stay at the same time. However, please bear me in mind and get in touch if you need your dog to be boarded in my home or George's home.
