Solicitor for conveyancing
Can anyone recommend a Solicitor to carry out the necessary conveyancing required for when we sell our/purchase a property?

Winter and Co in Ware or Longmores in Hertford are as good as any as I have experienced. The former (were) considerably cheaper than many others although I don't know if that remains the case..

Not that I have any personal experience, but Longmores used to have the nickname of "Longsnores" apparently due to the length of time it took them to do anything..

They did though I think it has improved since they had so many complaints about taking too long...........last coiple of things we have had done have been quicker.

I have dealt with Chris Pease in the past and he was alright. At the least you can pick up the phone and speak to him.

Another recommendation for Chris Pease. When we bought our house he was very helpful and has helped us with a few other things since. He was always on the end of an email if needed.

I've used Breeze and Wyles for every move I've completed in Hertford and they were always very good/efficient. Saying that, the last time I used them was nearly 5 years ago so it's possible they may no longer be in business[?]
