Celebrating St George's Day in the White Lion
Several people have arranged to go to the White Lion in Bengeo to celebrate St George's Day - Wednesday 23 April 2008, including the complete flying fraternity and others from the Hertford Film Club.
The pub will be giving away free hats! [:D]
On a related note, if there are any WWII RAF air crew in the town who fancy getting involved with this, either turn up at the White Lion or email me and I'll try to match people up for this event, to give something back to those who flew for us during World War II:

Those who wish to wear leather headgear for the event must provide their own. Each to their own - I'm more of a latex person myself.

I'm intending to give them a call and make a booking for a table today. So far there are potentially about 14 or so of us.

Alan is not in the area at the moment I don't think, hope someone can track him he he comes back locally and let us know!
