Melodramas in The Castle Grounds

Hertford Dramatic & Operatic Society (HDOS) performed two melodramas in the grounds of Hertford Castle on Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th July 2004.

The Drunkard's Dilemma and The Lighthousekeeper's Daughter were both directed by Janie Barnes and featured performances from Katerina Ayres, Andy Kirtley, Godfrey Marriot, Frank Bye, Jim Markey and Pat Steadman.

"I need drink" cries the drunkard
 
The lighthousekeeper's wife brings terrible news
