A new experience awaits lovers of good food with the opening of The Hillside in Port Hill on Thursday 27th February.
A group of local restauranteurs have spent the last few weeks renovating the former Rocking Horse in Port Hill and promise a fresh perspective on dining out.
The opening menu offers such dishes as Wensleydale croquette topped with asparagus spears and Pommery mustard dressing and Free range duck breast marinaded in Tequila, cinammon and blackberries, served with red cabbage and apple fritters
There is also a bar, featuring a real log fire, timber floorboards and exposed beams.
