Annual Town Meeting
Hertford Town Council holds it's Annual Meeting at The Corn Exchange in Fore Street on Monday 18th April at 8pm.
At this annual event the Town Council takes the opportunity to inform Hertford residents about the work it has undertaken during the past year. It also provides an opportunity for other local bodies to provide information about their work in the town.
The Mayor of Hertford, Cllr Peter Ruffles, will chair the meeting, and he and the Council's Leader and Committee Chairmen will outline their work over the past year, as well as highlighting some of the Town Council's plans for the coming months.
Cllr Ruffles said: "I hope that many Hertford residents will attend the meeting. I think it will be a particularly interesting occasion, as not only will there be the overview of the Town Council's work, but it will also provide an opportunity for the Town's residents to learn about other local issues. Representatives of the Town Twinning Associations, Hertford Museum, Hertford Rotary Club and the Police will be addressing the meeting.".
There will be an opportunity at the meeting for members of the public to question Councillors and other speakers. To ensure a comprehensive answer, questions can if wished be submitted in advance to the Town Clerk.
