Roadworks Near Completion

The roadworks at the Bluecoats roundabout and in Ware Road are nearing completion following months of disruption.

Contractors expect to commission the new traffic lights next week (starting 15th July) and continue work the following week, specifically in front of the former Christ's Hospital school.

Meanwhile, the new blacktop surface at the Bus Station, which has proven too soft for heavy traffic, has been taken up during the latter part of last week and the bus station should be open shortly.
