Candidates

The District and Town Council elections take place on Thursday 3rd May.

Four District councillors from the town are standing down after one four-year term: Rob Conway (Con Hertford Kingsmead); Sally Newton (Con, Hertford Bengeo), Helle Penson (Con, Hertford Sele) and Matthew Port (Con, Hertford Bengeo).

The candidates shown below will be standing for the four wards in Hertford. Castle and Bengeo wards will each elect three members and Kingsmead and Sele will elect two. Candidates shown in bold are currently serving councillors seeking re-election.
