Hertford Theatre Week

    Hertford Theatre Week takes place each year during the Spring at The Castle Hall and features six performances.

Hertford Music Festival

    Hertford Music Festival takes place in April and May. It is sponsored by Tesco Stores and Universal Office Automation.

Hertford Art Society Exhibition

    Hertford Art Society hold an annual exhibition at The Corn Exchange each year during May.

Hertford Carnival

Family Fun Day

    The Family Fun Day takes place annually during the Summer. Click here for pictures of the 2000 event.

Woodmanstock

    Started in 1995, Woodmanstock takes place each year at The Woodman PH in Chapmore End.

Soundbites
    Soundbites is now an established feature of Hertford's musical life. Started two years ago by Chris Benham, Director of Music at All Saints church, the series has built up a regular and loyal following. The purpose of Soundbites is to give people an opportunity to meet over lunch (supplied by Pearce's, the bakers) and listen to quality live music.

Medieval Night
    Medieval Night takes place every November when the town dresses up in Medieval costume, the shops stay open late and there is fun to be had in the town centre with charity stalls, performances and food.
