Events 2002 at Hertford Castle
Keith Marshall, owner of Marshall's Furniture in Fore Street, has organised a number of events at Hertford Castle for 2002.
5-Course Banquet
Saturday 27th April 7:30-10:00pm
£25.00 per head
Set in 1632, Philip Holman, the tenant of Hertford Castle invites you to Samuel Stone's Farewell Banquet.
Samuel Stone will shortly be leaving for the New World with his wife and family and you are nvited to join him to wish him well on his journey and to enjoy his farewell banquet.
During the evening you will meet and be entertained by Philip Holman and Mr. & Mrs Samuel Stone and so learn more of their life and time.
Historic Walk & 3-Course Meal
Saturday 15th June 2002 6:30-9:30pm
£19 per head
Find out about Hertford's past - the history, buildings, people, cultures, murders and other events. The tour finishes at Hertford Castle where a welcoming drink will await you followed by a 3-coure meal.
Ghost Walks & 3-Course Meal
Saturday 26th October 2002 7:30pm
Thursday 31st Octobr 2002 7:30pm

The tour starts at 7:30pm at Marshalls, 32 Fore Street, Hertford, where a panicky punch will be served before setting off to find out about the hauntings at:-

- The Three Tuns

- The Salisbury Hotel
During the walk you will meet various ghosts and ghouls from Hertford's past before finishing your tour at Hertford's historic castle at approximately 9pm where a vampire vegetable soup will be served followed by a chillin chilli or quivering quiche with jittery jacket pottoes and scary salad, followed by a devilish desert.
