Carter's Steam Fair returns to the town's Hartham Common next weekend after last year's successful visit..

Steam-powered rides and attractions are again expected to pull in the crowds on Saturday and Sunday, with the opening evening rounded off with a firework display.

There will also be a collection of vintage slot machines and amusements for anyone keen on nostalgia.

Admission to the fair is free with most rides costing around a pound.
