Next Community Voice Meeting
East Herts Council is planning for the future and needs your views at the next Hertford area Community Voice meeting.
Have your say at the council offices at Wallfields, Pegs Lane, Hertford on Thursday, January 24, from 7:30-9pm.
The council is working on a new Local Development Framework. Replacing the Local Plan, the framework is a series of planning documents that will affect how planning decisions are made in Hertford and across the district. The LDF will also identify areas for development or special protection, shaping the future growth of our towns and villages.
At Community Voice, the council wants to know what issues are important to the people of Hertford and the surrounding area, so that future planning policies can be designed to respond to their priorities.
Suzanne Rutland-Barsby, chairman of Hertford Community Voice said: "Whether you want to see more affordable housing or you'd like us to focus on protecting the green belt, please come along and let us know your views so we can make sure our planning policies in the future suit you."
