Hertford's Castle Grounds becomes a rock venue on Sunday 5th August as a number of local bands perform at a free concert.

The event, which is staged by Hertford Town Council in association with The Hertford Marquee, features 12 local acts performing excellent live music from Rock to Jazz. New this year is an acoustic stage complementing the sounds on the main stage - truly a musical extravaganza for all the family.

The new acoustic stage features Nuala, The Ukabilly Big Band, The Georges and Kristin Crilly.

The concert is sponsored by Data Gods JFO Ltd, Lanes Estate Agents, McMullens and Gig Gear and is in aid of the Isabel Hospice.

The event takes place on the East Lawn and from 12 noon to 7pm with admission by voluntary donation to The Isabel Hospice.
