Next Community Voice Meeting
At East Herts Council's next Community Voice meeting there'll be a chance for local people to influence the future of parking across the district.
The meeting will be held at Wallfields, Pegs Lane, Hertford, on Thursday, January 25 from 7:30-9pm.
Consultants Arup are asking for feedback to create a new parking strategy for East Herts. Local people are being canvassed on a range of topics from how parking services are funded to the level of on-street parking regulations. The results will influence parking policies over the next five to 10 years.
Housing is also on the agenda. Residents can hear about the help available for people having trouble getting onto the housing ladder, including affordable housing and details of a proposed choice-based lettings scheme.
Suzanne Rutland-Barsby, chairman of Hertford Community Voice said: "Come along to Community Voice to find out how the council is helping people with housing needs. I'm sure people in Hertford will also welcome the opportunity to influence parking policies for the future."
