Events at Hertford Castle & Grounds

A number of events take place in the Castle Grounds each year, organised by or in association with Hertford Town Council.

The Castle Gatehouse and grounds are in the Town Centre and entrances are located next to the Castle Hall and in West Street. Admission is free and there is plenty of parking in St.Andrew Street.

Castle exhibits, town twinning showcase, town council regalia, silver and gifts on display and wedding gown Exhibition.

Castle Fun Day
Sunday 4th June, 12noon - 5.00pm
Tours of Hertford Castle, classic bus rally, band concert with homemade refreshments. Children's entertainment and activities (music and dance)

Garden Festival & Craft Fair
Sunday 10th September, 11.30am - 5.00pm
A wonderful afternoon for gardeners and non gardeners alike. Garden stalls, crafts, fun activities, horticultural show and Hertford In Bloom Award Presentation Ceremony.
