Theatre Week 2005:

This year's Theatre Week has been won by the The Barn Theatre Club's production of Gigi.

For the second year running, the Club also received the Roy Seaman Award for stage presentation when prizes were handed out at the end of the festival on Saturday 23rd April 2005.

Preston performers In Yer Space were Runners-Up and also received the Audience Appreciation Award, as well as the Adjudicator's Award.

This year's Theatre Week took place between Monday 18th April and Saturday 23rd April 2005.

The annual drama festival featured two other local drama companies - The Company Of Players and Hertford Dramatic & Operatic Society. Also taking part were Kytes Theatre Group from Brentwood and The Tin Shed Theatre Company from Bovingdon.

This was Theatre Week's 45th outing and the event is organised by Hertford Dramatic & Operatic Society.

The adjudicator for this year was Scott Marshall, who also judged the 2000 event.
