Theatre Week 2004:
Awards
This year's Theatre Week has been won by the In Yer Space theatre company from Preston in Lancashire.
The group also received the Roy Seaman Award for stage presentation when prizes were handed out at the end of the festival on Saturday 24th April 2004.
The Bar Theatre Club were Runners-Up and also received the Audience Appreciation Award.
The Adjudicator's Award went to Godfrey Marriot and Jim Markey for their portrayal of Lenny and George in Of Mice and Men.
The annual festival, organised by Hertford Dramatic & Operatic Society (HDOS), features local drama groups and well as companies from further afield. This year's competition also featured the hosts, Hertford Dramatic and Operatic Society.
The adjudicator for this year was Russell Whiteley.
