Events at Hertford Castle & Grounds

A number of events take place in the Castle Grounds each year, organised by or in association with Hertford Town Council.

The Castle Gatehouse and grounds are in the Town Centre and entrances are located next to the Castle Hall and in West Street. Admission is free and there is plenty of parking in St.Andrew Street.

Wedding Exhibition
Sunday 25th April 2004, 10:30am-4:30pm

Meet local companies providing wedding services for the bride and bridegroom all under one roof.

Funday
Sunday 6th June 2004

In the town and at the Castle - music, entertainment, children's activities, charity stalls - fun for all the family.

Theatre Weekend
Sat/Sun 3rd/4th July 2004

Hertford Dramatic and Operatic Society entertain the crowds.

Hertford In Bloom
Early July

Local residents, businesses and schools compete for these prestigeous awards. Hertford will be alive with vibrant colourful floral displays to catch the jedges' eye.

10th Beating The Retreat and Scottish Dancing

3rd Garden Festival

Medieval Pageant
