Medieval Night
This year's Medieval Night took place on Friday 15th November 2002 from 5:30pm onwards. The annual event in the town centre combines late night shopping with a variety of events to entertain.
This was Medieval Night's eighth year and the event is now a regular feature in Hertford's calendar.

As in past years The Castle was be open and there was a funfair in the town. The Museum featured free events and activities for all ages, including traditional food and music. Knights in armour battled it out at The Hertford Club, whilst one of Hertford's oldest buildings, the Friends Meeting House in Railway Street, was open to the public. Many of the town's shops and businesses were open, with staff dressed up for the occasion. The evening was rounded off with fireworks on Hartham Common by Bangs Before Bedtime.
Discover Hertford Online was out and about taking photos of the evening..
