Events at Hertford Castle & Grounds
A number of events appealling to music lovers, gardeners and those planning a wedding are to take place at Hertford Castle over the next few months. There is also a ghost walk timed to coincide with Halloween.
Band Concert & Cream Teas
Sunday 14th July 2002, 2pm-5pm
East London Brass originated in he early part of the last century and have passed through various changes. It has gone from strength to strength culminating in a modern incarnation yet retaining the traditions and culture of the Brass Band. This can be seen from the viverse locations performed .. as austere as Westminster Abbey yet as modern as Fabric Nightclub.
Free admission and plenty of parking in St.Andrew Street.
Rock Concert
Sunday 4th August 2002
Join Hertbeat FM's Russell Osbourne and Paul Hutchinson for a day of live music starting at noon, featuring:

Ghost Walks & 3-Course Meal

The tour starts at 7:30pm at Marshalls, 32 Fore Street, Hertford, where a panicky punch will be served before setting off to find out about the hauntings at:-

- The Castle Grounds
- Pearces
- The Three Tuns
- Albany Radio
- Caffe Uno
- The Salisbury Hotel
During the walk you will meet various ghosts and ghouls from Hertford's past before finishing your tour at Hertford's historic castle at approximately 9pm where a vampire vegetable soup will be served followed by a chillin chilli or quivering quiche with jittery jacket pottoes and scary salad, followed by a devilish desert.
