Clinton Cards
Seems to be a lot of work taking place at the old Clinton Cards shop in Maidenhead street. Scaffolding has gone up and a skip outside which was rapidly filling up. Anyone know what's happening there?
Re: Clinton Cards
Thank you Steve. Any idea as to what type of restaurant is planned?
Re: Clinton Cards
So a restaurant with a deli counter.
According to the design and access statement, something like a Carluccio's or a Loch Fyne.

Interesting to note in the officer's report that you can now "change the use" of up to 150sqm of your A1 (retail) premises to A3 (food and drink) under permitted development (no permission required) for up to 2 years.

Re: Clinton Cards
Talking to a member of Dil’s restaurant staff recently, I was told that the owner (Mr Dil) had taken on the property and as stated it is going to become another restraurant.(Probally moving Dils Indian down stairs to street level).
Re: Clinton Cards
I might be mistaken, but looking through the attachments to the Planning Application, it would appear that the owner of Dil's had objected to the application on the grounds that it would affect his business.
