shed disposal/erection

Post by pendodave » Tue 30 May, 2017 3:19 pm

Thinking of buying a new shed to replace the one currently rotting away.

Has anyone used a local handyman to erect new shed/take down/dispose of the old one.

I know I could do it myself, but sometimes life's just too short...

We had two teenagers to destroy the old shed which they loved doing. They were reluctant at first but when we handed them hammers, they went for it.

We then took the bits to the dump although you could burn it. We then bought a shed off a company that delivers and erects it. I have to say they were magnificent and built a 9 by 9 shed in 40 minutes. The ability to customise the shed was brilliant and the customer service was excellent (I had to change delivery dates twice), thoroughly recommend them. They weren't cheap but I got very good value for money and the shed is superb. very solid, proper security and insulated

An update on this, in case anyone searches for something similar.

We ended up using Herts Garden Buildings in Stapleford.

Really pleased with the quality of the shed and the general service etc.
