No, I won't be voting for people I don't know what they "believe" and would rather this post doesn't exist. What good is doing for me? Nothing. I cannot tell you any names so cannot vote for someone whom I know nothing about. Complete waste of taxpayers money.. rather they spent it on other things !

You can find all the candidates' statements on here (I think it's the first time I've had to actively look up any candidate info rather than it just falling through the door...)

I am voting because I think it is important to vote. I personally think you lose the right to moan about the result if you do not vote.

As for who I will vote for, I have very little idea. I have used the link above (thank you Highwood38 for that) and one candidate is out of the running from reading that but it still leaves 3.

My son turned 18 recently and this is his first vote. Not sure I think it is an exciting first vote...

So David Lloyd unsurprisingly got in for another term.

I know. I can't stand the excitement either.

Exactly, people voted Conservative, rather than for the man IMHO. And for no other reason than an election was put in front of them.

The establishment of PCCs was entirely political - created by politicians for politicans. This is why I refuse to have any part in the process.

I have voted in every election since I was 18, local, national, and referenda, but never for a PCC.

I think that could be construed as insulting for David Lloyd, that no one voted for him but voted for his party! I did read all about it and did rule out one candidate because their statements irritated me. One of my votes was for David Lloyd and it wasn't because he stands for the Conservatives, I made an effort and read the scant information about them all and in the end decided he would get one of my two votes (not necessarily my first one though).
